The event was organised by Bella Bidmead, owner of Waggy Tails pet service and her sister Heidi Bidmead, Cancer Research volunteer. The pair aimed to raise £2000 but with £1000 raised before the event, they smashed their target. Having counted £2500 by the end of the day with sponsor money still to be collected.

Each dog was given a goody bag at the end of the 5k and brought out families of all ages. With the event a success, its sure to get bigger and bigger every year.
