Labour’s new proposal to reduce tuition fees

pound-414418_640Labour has announced if they win the election this year tuition fees will be cut by a 1/3 to £6,000. Is it the right move to make for universities?

If you are a student you will be more than aware of the debt of around £44,000 you will have once you have completed university. If the fees were to be cut students will be paying £3,000 less each year.

However, opposing parties are stating that universities could suffer with students paying a lot less. University are questioning if they will have enough money to fund and maintain the standard of education being received at the moment.

Sam Webster – Labour Councillor talks about if it will make a difference to universities.
