Both Nottinghamshire county council and city council are appealing for new lollipop men and ladies to improve safety in and around the city.
Lollipop men and ladies are needed now more than ever to help keep children safe on the streets.
Currently there are 33 full time and a number of part time and relief vacancies available, but the local authorities are struggling to fill these.
There are over 140 patrol sites in Nottinghamshire and a number of them are vacant and are looking for new people to fill the high visibility jacket.
They currently have vacancies at North Leverton, Southwell, Mansfield Woodhouse, Littleworth Mansfield, Woodthorpe, Arnold, East Leake and Radcliffe on Trent.
They are also looking for Relief School Crossing Patrols to cover absence in all areas.
So are you willing the wear the high visibility jacket and carry the famous lollipop?
