.

The new Forest boss says there is ‘one major thing missing’ with the current Forest squad.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of his first match in charge against Brighton and Hove Albion, Freedman says:

“There is, one major thing missing, that’s the confidence. Which is if you’ve got all that thing and no confidence it doesn’t really matter.

“I just feel for whatever reasons, I’m not going to go into them, I feel that they are a little bit low on confidence and that can come from many different angles and it can affect different players in different ways.”

‘Different Personalities’

“One by one I need to try and get to know them quickly and then we’ll treat them different in terms of individuals, they’re all different personalities which I quite like handling that and put them together as a team.”
