To mark the end of the lead up to National Library Day on Saturday (February 7), libraries are putting on a light show in the city centre.
Libraries across the country are marking the end of National Library Week with a bang. Or should that be a flash?
Nottingham Central Library in Angel Row has organised a night of bright lights and festivities as part of the city council’s Light Night events designed to show that even at night Nottingham can be a safe and fun place for families.
This also ties in with tomorrow (February 7) being National Libraries Day and the illumination that reading library books can bring.
There’ll be all sorts of events in Market Square as the libraries and city council work together to prove that Nottingham is a bright and welcoming place to at night.
