Nottingham charity runs workshop for vulnerable adults

frameworkA homeless charity based in the East Midlands is putting on an art workshop for vulnerable adults, in collaboration with artist Chris Smith.

Gateway for Nature, a project set up by the homeless charity Framework, has put together an art workshop for vulnerable adults.  Chris Smith is based in the new  Cobden Chambers, which hosts a number of creative businesses in Nottingham.

The project which provides opportunities for people who are socially isolated, who have lost their confidence or suffer health problems is open to anyone over the age of eighteen.

The aim of the event is to “provide a safe, relaxing atmosphere where participants can express their emotions” through the art session.

Chris Smith sells his work and prints in Cavology, an independent shop in Cobden Chambers. He is currently in the process of opening a workshop above the shop called 5dots.

More to follow.
