A 60m high observation wheel is set to make a comeback after four years to Nottingham’s Old Market Square, overlooking the city centre.
Nottingham city centre is set to look slightly different over the next week as a giant observation wheel is being installed in the Old Market Square.
Nicknamed the “Nottingham Eye” by local residents, the wheel was originally brought to the city in February 2008.
The attraction weighs around 365 tons and reaches a height of 60m from top to bottom, offering a complete 360 degree view overlooking the city.
Installation of the wheel should take no longer than a week, and is due to open Saturday 31st January for three weeks.
