The Nottingham born World Champion boxer, Carl Froch has said he may never fight again after he sustained an elbow injury causing him to cancel his next fight.
Carl Froch has been forced to postpone his dream Las Vegas fight with Julio Cesar Chavez because of the injury he got while training.
The Super Middle Weight says he had hoped to return to the ring in the Summertime, although a spokesperson for Froch said “the injury may unfortunately be career threatening”.
“I’m disappointed to have to let this opportunity go but at this stage in my career I have to make every fight count,” said Nottingham’s Froch.
Froch, throughout his career, has lost just two of his 35 fights, with 24 of his 33 wins coming by way of knockout.
Froch plans to make a further announcement later in the week.
