Salmonella has been detected in a
batch of chocolate bars on sale in
Aldi stores across the Midlands.
The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall notice on 200g packs of Choceur Treasures with a best before date of September 1st 2015.
One batch of these chocolate treats has been found to contain Salmonella. The product had been on sale in Aldi stores across Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Grantham, Worcester and Birmingham.
The Food Standards Agency have told customers who have bought the hazelnut wrapped in waffle and milk chocolate to ”not eat it. Instead, return the product to the nearest store”.
No other products are said to be affected.
