Nottingham Contemporary is starting its 5th anniversary celebrations with a line up of special events and late night gallery openings to mark its milestone birthday.
With family activities, live music and special offers, the art centre which opened in November 2009 is inviting art enthusiasts to join in on the three day celebrations.
In the heart of the Lace Market, the Nottingham Contemporary is one of the largest contemporary art centres in the UK.
At over 3,000 square metres, the centre has four galleries, a performance and film space, a learning room and a shop and café.
Most of the celebratory events will be free of charge with exhibitions from artists such as Agnieszka Polska and Raphael Hefti opening to the public from Thursday evening.
Musicians such a Natalie Duncan and the Fat Digester music collective will also be performing to entertain those celebrating.
More information about the celebrations can be found on the gallery’s website.
