Who said knitting is just for old grannies? Nottingham Trent university have unveiled a new exhibition challenging the way knitting can be used.
The exhibition at Bonnington gallery on Dryden Street pays tribute to the role Nottingham has played in the knitting industry.
It will be showcasing works from internationally renowned designers, artists and researchers.
The idea behind it being to challenge perceptions of knitting being outdated and showing just how far knitting can be taken.
The installation is part of a celebration of 170 years of art and design heritage at the university.
The innovative exhibition will start Thursday November 6 between 6pm – 8pm and run until November 28.
Admission is free and it is open to the general public.
