Fire breaks out at derelict school in Clifton

A fire broke out at a derelict school building in Clifton. Six crews of fire fighters tackled the blaze at Fairham Community College on Farnborough Road.

.More than forty fire fighters helped with the blaze that was reported just before 9am on Thursdays 23 October.

The fire service managed to put of the flames by 12.30pm and will spend the afternoon damping down.

Police also attended the incident and Summerwood Lane was temporarily closed between Farnborough Road and Thistledown Road junction while fire fighters dealt with the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
