A man, injured in a collision between three vehicles on the A453 close to Barton-in-Fabis, has died from his injuries after being taken to hospital.
Brian Herrick, 69, of Cleveland, died after being taken to hospital after a crash which involved a lorry and two cars.
The collision caused the police to close the A453 in both directions from Junction 24 of the M1 to Crusader Island, Clifton for almost nine hours.
Two fire crews from West Bridgford and Highfields fire stations attended the scene, with drivers facing severe delays in the surrounding areas.
