Beer fanatics will be flocking to Nottingham Castle as the annual Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival returns to the city this week.
Final preparations are being made for this year’s edition – which promises to be the biggest and best yet.
The event, which will offer the world’s largest selection of draught cask conditioned beers, begins on Wednesday and runs until Sunday.
As well as showcasing around 650 rare and unique beers, over 200 ciders will be available to try.
Andrew Ludlow, secretary of Nottingham’s Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), described just how big this year’s event will be.
