A lecturer from the University of Nottingham is performing a DJ set as part of Black History Month with all revenue from tickets going to charity.
Patrick Callahan, head of the School of Health Sciences at the university, will be performing under the moniker of DJ Soul Professor.
As well as supporting Black History Month money from the tickets will go to the Forever Stars charity, funding a bereavement suite at the city’s Queen’s Medical Centre for parents of stillborn babies.
The event takes place at the University of Nottingham Sports and Social Club at the University Park in Lenton.
Tickets are £5 and are available from Davina Malcolm by email firstname.lastname@example.org
