Nottingham mothers have been protesting in front of a city sports store after a woman was asked to leave for breastfeeding.
About 40 people joined the protest against Sports Direct and its treatment of a breastfeeding mother.
The incident initially took place in January, when twenty-five-years-old mum Wioletta Komar was forced to leave the store for breastfeeding her three-month-old son.
But the store did not apologize for its actions until Thursday last week, when they sent a bouquet of flowers to Mrs Komar.
The Nottinghamshire Breastfeeding Mums Network organised the protest at the sports store, where mums have made their protest, feeding their babies in public.
Those who attended the protest were disappointed at how long it took the company to issue an apology.
Organizer, Leah Richards says “I’m annoyed, it took them three months to apologise…begrudgingly”
Sports Direct haven’t commented.
Breastfeeding in public is an issue that divides opinion.
