The Chinese New Year Gala in Nottingham takes place tomorrow evening in the Royal Theatre Concert Hall with an audience of 1500 people expected.
Performers from London Art Troupe will be at the show. It is said to be the biggest Spring Festival celebration in Nottingham history.
In cooperation with Nottingham Confucius Institute and University of Nottingham, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) of Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has been preparing for months.
The evening will see traditional Chinese performances such as dances from the minority groups of China and musical instruments playing. Catwalks will also take place to showcase the specially designed clothes from the Fashion Design students of NTU.
It has been referred to as the biggest Chinese New Year celebration ever in Nottingham, with hundreds invited from different parts of UK.
