Nottingham’s pubs, restaurants and bars have had a busy month, despite January typically being quiet for the hospitality business.
With around £2.5 million being invested into renovating current businesses, and the redevelopment of the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, Nottingham is set to have a surge of new businesses and entertainment. The £150 million redevelopment of the Broadmarsh is set to create almost 500,000 square feet of retail, leisure and catering space. Alongside the recent renovations of the train station, Nottingham has seen a revamp which is hoped to not only increase tourism but also revitalise the local economy.
The Pitcher and Piano, a bar and restaurant based in a de-consecrated church in the Lace Market, is just one of many restaurants being refurbished. They will be opening their doors to the public tomorrow after a £450,000 update which has transformed the bar into both an intimate dining area as well as a late night upmarket bar.
