Nottingham students to get scissor happy at new hairdressing academy

untitledSTUDENTS will be showing off their cutting-edge skills on the open day of a new hairdressing academy.

The Lee Stafford Hairdressing Academy, on Nottingham’s Maid Marian Way, is working in partnership with Stephenson College to provide students with hands-on experience as well as theory.
The well-equipped academy, which is the second of its kind to open in the country, offers full time positions as well as apprenticeships.

Tim Puffer, marketing and communications manager at the college, said: “The open day will be a great opportunity for people to find out more about us.
“We’re also opening a business school in the same building as the salon which will focus on accountancy.
“Things are going really well at the moment and we are very excited about the partnership with Lee Stafford. We are the second salon to open in the country, the first is based in Chelmsford.”
