A Nottingham City Councillor says the city deserves more recognition for constantly reducing its carbon footprint.
The University of Nottingham has been praised after ranking number one in the world for its sustainability. According to the latest Green Metric World Rankings, the university came top out of 300 universities from around the world for its efforts in programmes looking at energy, water and waste management.
Portfolio Holder for Energy and Sustainability at Nottingham City Council, Alan Clark is pleased with the achievement. But he thinks the City should also be recognised for it’s green efforts.
